We got into Frankfurt early afternoon and had to wait for someone to pick us up at the station. I believe we waited about 2 hours before our journey began. As we waited, we walked around Frankfurt station. The train station is huge there are numerous shops and stores to pass the time . Once we arrived in Giessen, Germany, we had some German beer waiting for us and the next thing I remember several hours had past. We were having a fabulous time.
The next day, we decided it was time to hop on the Autobahn. What is the Autobahn? The Autobahn is the nationally coordinated (expressway) motorway system in Germany. The Autobahn has no general speed limits. Upon entering the Autobahn it was my first experience being on an expressway that had no speed limits. I would suggest if ever you're in Germany I highly recommend you drive on the Autobahn. We were so glad that the Frankfurt exist was coming up. Frankfurt is also known for their magnificent museums. Exploring Germany was a historical and joyous vacation.
