We drove from Buffalo, NY to Toronto, Canada and arrived at Niagara Falls early afternoon. During our trip we stop by and visited a friend in Buffalo and continued on our journey. This photo was taken while we were driving into Toronto. This is the CN (Canadian National) Tower. CN Tower is Canada's most recognizable and celebrated icon. It is the world 3th tallest tower in the world and remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere.
The Falls is one of three waterfalls that together are known as Niagara Falls on the Niagara River along the Canada–U.S. border. From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The sounds from the thunderous roar and the crashing waves are astounding. As you maneuver through the tourist and see one of the world natural wonders up close it is a sight before your eyes. The view of the Falls are absolutely breathtaking. The Horseshoe Falls lie mostly on the Canadian border. The American Falls entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island.
If you're in Toronto at the Falls try to go on the Maid of the Mist. I'm not sure if they still have the ferry ride, but if so do go on. It's a great experience riding low near the Falls. They give you a poncho to wear because you will need it, the view is amazing at this level. Have a good time sight seeing in Canada.
